Esta vivienda unifamiliar aislada con piscina en azotea se localizada en el barrio residencial de Canillas, en la trasera de la Avenida de Arturo Soria. Se caracteriza por la baja densidad heredada del tejido original; parcelas de tamaño reducido, la homogeneidad del trazado y el carácter social del barrio. En cambio, estas características convierten el barrio en un demandado polo residencial de lujo, donde la vivienda se convierte en un oasis.

Tratar de mantener estas premisas fue el objeto del proyecto, de modo que las plantas nobles se abren al jardín con un gran porche y terrazas escalonadas. El programa se desarrolla en tres plantas sobre rasante y sótano. Coronando la edificación y a modo de salón exterior, se plantea la terraza solárium con piscina.

La imagen del edificio se identifica por una volumetría prismática y abstracta en la que el revestimiento de aplacado de piedra se convierte en el protagonista, remarcando el despiece los huecos verticales.

Especial hincapié se ha tenido en el diseño de una envolvente de excelentes prestaciones térmicas y acústicas que junto con una climatización proyectada con suelo radiante que se alimenta de una bomba de calor geotérmica, resulta un edificio confortable, de extremada eficiencia energética y bajo impacto ambiental.

El enfoque del proyecto auna tecnología con diseño exquisito, pensado para los usuarios y responsable con el medioambiente.

This single-family House with a rooftop pool is located in the residential area of Canillas, behind Avenida de Arturo Soria. It is characterised by low density inherited from original urban small plots structure, homogeneity of the layout and social character of the neighbourhood. On the other hand, these characteristics turn the site into a sought-after luxury residential hub, where the house becomes an oasis.

Trying to maintain these premises was the object of the project: opened representative floors to the garden with a large porch and stepped terraces. The programme is developed on three floors above ground and basement. Crowning the building and as an outdoor living room, is proposed the solarium terrace with swimming pool.

The image of the building is identified by a prismatic and abstract volumetry in which the stone cladding becomes the protagonist, emphasise the vertical openings.

Special detail has been placed on the design of an envelope with excellent thermal and acoustic performance which, together with underfloor heating and air conditioning powered by a geothermal heat pump, results in a comfortable building with extreme energy efficiency and low environmental impact.

The approach of the project combines technology with exquisite design, thought for the users and responsible with the environment.
