Elim Beverages, Duala (Camerún)
Elim Beverages, proyecto de un Complejo Industrial situado en la Zona Industrial Bekoko, localizada en el cinturón metropolitano de la ciudad de Duala, Camerún.
El complejo incluye la fábrica de embotellado de refrescos de la marca AJE con 7.000 m2 construidos, un edificio de oficinas anexo a la fábrica de 1.000 m2 y un edificio destinado al bien estar de los trabajadores y centro de formación, que cuenta con otros 650 m2.
El diseño de la planta industrial ha sido perfeccionado a partir de las experiencias que hemos obtenido en otros proyectos previos, ya terminados, mejorando así la relación del tipo arquitectónico con la funcionalidad industrial y sumando en este caso las particularidades locales.
Otro aspecto singular de este proyecto ha sido el esfuerzo por diseñar un edificio que aprovechará las ventajas de la tecnología constructiva prefabricada, dado que muchas unidades constructivas, como el caso de la estructura, se han calculado, diseñado y fabricado en España, siendo transportadas y montadas in situ, obteniéndose así una gran resultado tanto en la calidad como en el plazo de ejecución.
Elim Beverages, a project for an Industrial Complex located in the Bekoko Industrial Zone, located in the metropolitan belt of the city of Douala, Cameroon.
The complex includes the AJE branded soft drinks bottling factory with 7,000 m2 of floor space, a 1,000 m2 office building annexed to the factory and a 650 m2 workers’ welfare and training centre building.
The design of the industrial plant has been perfected on the basis of the experiences we have gained in previous projects, which have already been completed, thus improving the relationship between the architectural type and the industrial functionality and adding in this case the local particularities.
Another unique aspect of this project has been the effort to design a building that will take advantage of the benefits of prefabricated construction technology, given that many construction units, such as the structure, have been calculated, designed and manufactured in Spain, being transported and assembled on site, thus obtaining a great result both in terms of quality and execution time.
